The Display
The Maxx-G Aerobatics display itself is 10 minutes of high energy, engine screaming precision aerobatic manoeuvres taking place from the initial dive height of 2500ft right down to ground level, maintaining a mesmerizing connection with the crowd at all times.
Speeds reached during the performance are in excess of 300km/h and -100km/h with G-forces reaching +7G and -5G.
Manoevres performed include classic competition figures such as rolls, hesitation rolls, hammerheads, vertical rolls, inside and outside loops. Some gyroscopic manoeuvres like multiple snap rolls, torque rolls, shoulder rolls and tumbles are also performed.
The Maxx-G Aerobatics display finishes with a triple ribbon cut never performed by any other pilot in Australia. The ribbon cut consists of cutting three ribbons in one pass, with the first ribbon cut with the left wing, the second cut with the right wing and the third cut with the fin while the aeroplane is upside down at just 15 feet.
With the classic look of a Bi-plane conjuring up images of brave pilots with nerves of steel locked in dog-fights over foreign lands, a Maxx-G Aerobatics display will ensure a memorable highlight to your event and is sure to be talked about for years.
